Industry and Corporate Talent Database

Introduction of the Database

The purpose of establishing this center is to conduct research on the business strategies and talent development of Taiwanese enterprises. Given that relevant data on domestic enterprises and talent development is scattered, hindering the development of business intelligence in both academic and commercial sectors, we have created the "Industry and Enterprise Talent Database." By integrating public and private sector data, supplemented by surveys conducted by the center, this database tracks the development of enterprises and talent, assisting academic and research institutions as well as companies in studies, diagnostics, and counseling related to new ventures, family business governance, and corporate ESG initiatives.

The first phase of the foundational data structure for the "Industry and Enterprise Talent Database" has been completed. The integrated data sources include: (1) Tax registration data – National business (tax) registration data of the Republic of China, (2) Ministry of Economic Affairs business registration, (3) Enterprise financial and governance data – Public Data Observation Station, (4) Patents in the Republic of China, (5) Taiwan Master's and Doctoral Thesis Knowledge Value-Added System, (6) Corporate ESG reports – Public Data Observation Station, (7) Violations of labor laws – Ministry of Labor announcement of violations by businesses, (8) Environmental pollution and administrative rulings – Environmental Protection Administration pollution source data (including penalty information), (9) Factory directory data collection – Factory directory, and (10) Court ruling data – Court judgment records.
