Special Lecture and Sharing by Prof. Chia-Yen (Chad) Chiu, Associate Editor of Human Relations

The Center for Strategy and Human Capital Research and the Institute of Human Resource Management at National Sun Yat-sen University are delighted to host a workshop on submitting papers to international journals. Prof. Chia-Yen (Chad) Chiu, Associate Editor of Human Relations (an FT50 journal and a top-tier journal in the Management 1 division recognized by NSTC), and Reader/Associate Professor in Leadership at the University of Adelaide (#74 globally, US News), Australia, will join us on Thursday, December 21, 2023. • Topic: Aiming for Human Relations? Strategies to Sidestep Common Submission Errors (in English)

Session 2 (14:00–16:00)

• Topic: Interactive Workshop: Paper Development and Career Advice for Doctoral Students and Early Career Researchers (in Chinese)

During this workshop, Prof. Chiu will engage with doctoral students and faculty in an interactive session. He will review and provide feedback on 3–4 manuscripts, sharing insights and suggestions for refining research ideas.

【Speaker Introduction】

Prof. Chiu serves as Associate Editor for Human Relations and is a reviewer for top journals such as the Journal of Management and Journal of Organizational Behavior.

His research focuses on positive leadership and managerial mental health. He has published in renowned journals such as Human Relations, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Organizational Behavior, and The Leadership Quarterly.
